Weekly Club Notes 24.07.2017

Well done to Wilma Halvorsen, Geraldine van Rooyen, Harriet Sydenham and Pam Spring who did us proud by reaching the final of the All Natal ladies fours won by West.
This month’s Ladies bowls and lunch day at 8.30 tomorrow Friday 28 is in aid of the Angels Care homeless shelter.  Men are invited and encouraged to attend. The entry fee is in the form of foodstuff and tea is provided by Pam,  Gayle and Elna who are celebrating birthdays. Contact Pam Spring at 082 374 1803 for further detail. 
Our July E&C Charcoal Breakfast pairs is this Saturday at 8.30.  Accumulative cash prizes and generous monthly meat prizes are on offer. Place new entries on the board.
Good luck to our bowlers at the Niba men’s and ladies singles being played at various venues this Sunday.
All bowlers are welcome at our formal tabs in at 8.30 Tuesdays and Thursdays and 1.30 Saturdays. This months Tricky Thursday was won by  Andrew Bond, Dick Edwards and Ann Marnich. The top five in the accumulated monthly scores are Suva Pillay, Tim Goodricke,  Dick Edwards, Egon von Mayer and Geoff Shaw.
Informal bowls on Fridays at 2pm and Sundays at 9.30 (including this Sunday) is available to everyone. Woods are available and coaching can be arranged. Last Sunday chicken winners were Paul Fletcher, Kobus Theron and Kevin Williams with Andrew Mazoe sipping the presidents first touch free drink.
The Fridays 6pm attendance draw stands at R1300. All members are automatically entered but need to be present to win. An evening meal and meat draws are on offer as well.
Curry and lasagne is on offer Thursday  evenings to eat in or take away. 
The kitchen is open Tuesdays to Sundays for breakfast and lunch with Sunday lunch being a traditional roast.
